Our condolences to the family and friends of Royal Navy veteran, Sim Mayou who recently passed away at age 100. 🕯️
Sim was on board HMS Fusilier on D-Day, serving as a radar operator who’d previously been escorting Atlantic convoys. After the war, he organised numerous trips to the war graves in France and Belgium and was a member of the Normandy Veterans’ Association.
